I absolutely LOVE this photo!! Another entry into the fabulous internet photo challenge...I these photos would come in hady...it has nothing to do with me being a packrat ya hear me.....NOTHING!!! :)

This one grabs me- DH was called up when I was 8 mos along with our son, got 3 days leave ( a miracle)for his birth-came in the door as labor ensued! Then was sent away when baby was 3 days old. We were filmed by ABC, as the Desert Storm baby family. It was the hardest day of our lives to watch him get on that bus!

My son in law is in the Navy and this picture paints a thousand words and emotions. I know lots of my daughters friends go thru this. They have babies while their husbands are deployed and the husbands meet them when they're 6 months old. So hard on the moms and the dads. One of many sacrifices that military families deal with. Your page is very moving and tender.
