About this scrapbook page: |
I made this for the Baby Story challenge, although it's not really much of a story. All of my births were so simple and uncomplicated, I was walking around about an hour after each one was born, with easy labor. So from each of their births, the MAIN thing that I remember is that my husband was missing from them all. Deployed. The MAIN thing I remember about each one is the extreme joy combined with such a feeling of loss. His loss of that special moment that he missed out on. So that's my story.

This is a fabulous page! Welcome back - I was away for awhile, but before that I was wondering where you were and looking forward to you coming back because I love your work! I have a son who just left for his 3rd tour in Iraq and he and his wife are expecting their 2nd child who will be born in October while he is away, so this page really hit home for me. Thanks for sharing!

what a gorgeous page. So sad for their daddy though! My oldest son's dad was in Bosnia and almost didn't make it back on time so I can relate in that way. All three kiddos though - wow. Thank you to your husband for his hard work in the military, people need to know the multitudes of sacrifices they make! Huge hugs :)
