Sorry to all those who hate spiders...........
Just after finishing this page, I had gone into my kitchen to get something out of one of the cupboard above the bench and when I opened the door a spider came flying down. (actually falling on his web) Of course I screemed, then went and got my camera and started taking pics. This pic is actually one of them that I took, but I did have another already on my page, but it was a dead one. I thought this was much better.

I love this page, but I wouldn't have squished the poor spider lol. When we have a huntsman in our house, everyone else runs away. I put the spider in a cup & take it out to the garden. They are harmless so I don't mind them, a redback on the other hand, I would squish real quick. Putting this page in my favs!!!

What a lovely photo, and just in case you were wondering a huntsman spider like this one eats other nasty bugs but would probably like to be outside better...poor spider! My hubby squishes first and asks later too though...great page!

I am scared stiff of ANY creepy crawlies as well as spiders!! John will always get a glass and a piece of card, then put the glass over the top of the 'offending object' and slide the card underneath. This traps it inside the glass so he can escort it from the house! I daren't get that close, and usually scream loudly as I start throwing things at it!!

Oh my goodness Rose I have to agree with Cindee if this thing had been in my house he could have had it. I am deathly afraid of spiders!!!! If I had to get close enough to this thing to kill it I would have had a heart attack!!!

Oh my gracious! I totally agree with you about not being willing to share your home with things that look like this! Ugh! I am soooo scared of spiders. The worst things ever! You are brave for letting this one live long enough for you to capture a picture!
