it is in that magical hour when the sun and moon meet at the horizon, as the moon sets and the sun rises, that the star goddess leads the exodus of the stars from the skies, lest they melt in the sun's rays of passion. far better to live in the cold of the night than to die in the heat of the day. but totally captivated, some stars can't help but bask in the sun, enjoying a brief moment of splendor as they dance to their death and descend to earth as falling stars.
