For the first time in my life, I spent Christmas Eve in a motel room. Mark and I decided to make this Christmas special and spend it in Lancaster County, PA. We left the motel early on Christmas morning and rode around the Amish countryside. We stopped at various spots so that Mark could play a couple of songs and sing. Simple and free.

I may be a bit biased, but this is definitley one of my favorites of all time...I was singing either Memories of you by Ryan Adams, or My Own Town or True by Glen Phillips...I went through a couple of verses of each when we were at this site

This is such a great photo but it's missing something sis, sound. It makes me want to hear Mark singing as well as just seeing him sing. Mark doesn't look like he was just posing for a picture either. His heart is obviously being poured out in whatever song he was singing I imagine that you'll never forget this Christmas in Pa. with Mark.
