| About this scrapbook page: |

this painting used to hang on my wall when i was a child. many nights i would stare at it for hours, wondering where the children were coming from, why the bridge was broken, and marveling at the beauty and kindness of the angel watching over them. i distinctly remember always thinking that with such a loving presence looking down on them, they would never stumble in the hole on the bridge.
since i was 6 years old (more than 30 years ago), this painting, this memory, has been in my heart.

I love this picture. When my husband and I were children. An elderly woman in our church gave me this same painting and said this is you and Frank and the angel is watching over you. We were about 8 and 9 years old. Grew up, got married and been together going on 28 years. That angel is still watching over us. Thank you for my memory of this picture:)
