When Mark was here last week, we were looking through some old photo albums and I came upon this picture of my niece, Hannah, taken back in the early 1980's in New York. She was standing at a storm door, with one hand on her dog and another clutching a doll. I've always loved this photo. And the quote is very true. Hannah has always had a special place in my heart. The photo was old and very dark and was thus quite difficult to blend.

As an interesting little tidbit, the little girl in this picture is now grown and is expecting her first child in July. She is Aunt Hannah to our little Ellie. And the oldest daughter of Overseasnana (Nancy, my sister).
