This line is from one of the final scenes of "Les Miserables", when Jean Valjean is nearing death. I listened to the music one day last week, and this song is so haunting and beautiful. I've had this picture of chains in my picture file for some time. This combination of picture and words is a cry of my heart. I just don't show it very often.
