This is an image I found when I did a search for cemetery art. I am very drawn to worn and corroded statuary. This Sunday is my Grandmother's birthday. She left us in 1986. My Mom left in 2006 and my Dad just left us last January. The wounds of life. They hurt. But truly, where would we be without those things that have made us go deeper?

This is beautiful and your words have made it even more so. I have many photographs of old cometary stones and statues that I have taken. I think must find me odd for doing so, but it's ok...I know that the poetry that it speaks is not one every person can easily hear. I know now that you are one of them.
