I had the hardest time with this page and feel like I was forcing it. I just couldn't get the clarity and texture right. Anyway, Ellie was dressed as a little Dalmatian this year to go trick or treating. Isn't she just too precious? She's holding a tootsie roll in each hand. I wanted the page to look a little like a cover of a book.

Last year Ellie didn't understand Halloween but this year it didn't take her long to figure out that if she said hi and smiled sweetly at each door that people fussed over her and gave her candy. By the end she was knocking on the door and yelling "hello". She had a melt downt though when she couldn't immediately eat each piece of candy she got. I love this page Frances, I think it's perfect!
