About this scrapbook page: |
This was taken at the Montana/North Dakota border..I had finished my driving shift through Montana through the whole night, thousands of deer along the highway from midnight till dusk made it a long and SLOW drive..

I've driven across roads out west where they went on for hundreds of miles empty and lonely. That same road that calls to you , tells me to find a highway so I can get to my destination faster. I travel but without the travel bug. Many people who have the travel bug have to stay at home. Isn't it odd how life dishes out the opposite of what you think you want.

I one time saw a documentary about why they stopped making straight roads like this.. people were always falling asleep behind the wheel when there were no twists and turns:) You took a seemingly ordinary photo and made it look extraordinary, beautiful job

This is so moving, Mark. You are really expressing your heart in these pages. I love how you love the open roads. Although I must confess it is hard to find an open road like this one, with no other cars in sight. If I could find some vacant roads, I would love to join you in your adventures. This quote is just amazing!
