Evela (Eh vee lah) (b: 1875): my dad's father's mother's mother(or my great-great-grandmother). this picture was given to my by my dad's 1st cousin when i began charting the family tree. we are of acadian descent, from nova scotia, and a bona-fide "cajun". only those familes who settled nova scotia (french settlers) and were deported are acadians. my 11th great-grandfather was lt. general of port royal. he died some years before the grande derangement (deportment).
