For MYTHS and LEGENDS challenge-an excuse to mess about.Selkies are localised to northern Scotland,Shetland and Pharoe Isles where grey seals abound.Selkie folk could be identified in their human form by their webbed fingers and toes and ability to swim underwater for long periods.
