Mother Earth Goddess Fantasy Scraps challenge
To create this page I blended in six objects from six different images...the cracked effect was taken from a texture of dried mud..
I have made some images transparent and also added a spotlight effect

the alpha you used is perfect too .. but what most drew me to this one is that is in fact about the EARTH goddess while some in the challenge appear to be more oceanic or water goddesses! beautifully done!

the original image you used for the goddess is one of my all time favorites (very autumny) and I love what you've done with it here!!! similarly to kate I see the slumbering earth as it moves towards autumn, balanced by the awakening earth in spring .. interestingly the equinoxes are this weekend, when the two stand opposite each other in perfect harmony!

thank you for the detailed description. this is a stunning composition. i so love the soft image of the goddess and the contrast between new life and aging as depicted by that brilliant use of the crack effect, the soft glow and the dominant use of green gave me the impression of hope and vitality. good luck in the challenge.
