About this scrapbook page: |
this very old photo is attached to a cardboard frame. after carefully removing some of the backing, i discovered it's a small tin-type photo, 2.5 x 3.5 inches, possibly taken on a 1/6 plate. according to the somewhat brown coloring, circa 1870-1900. the cardboard frame is black, measures 3.5 x 5.5 inches & has embossed flowers and decorative elements. other than it being my ancestors, there is no other information known. sadly, all of the family members that would have known have already passed on.

Just Beautiful - We May Not know Who All of Our Ancestors are in the Photos We Find, but How Wonderful to Give Them a Lovely Setting to Live On In... Sincerely, Idgie
