My sisters and I have used pictures of mom when she was young and beautiful in several scrap pages. Never have we used ones after she got sick. I've been really missing her lately. This was taken about 5 months before she died. she spent all her days in the bed or on the sofa. She wasn't able to sit up. She wasn't able to comb her own hair. That's what I'm doing in this picture. I wish I could comb her hair for her one more time.

This pic touches my heart every time I see it...makes me cry and think of my mom. She loved for daddy, Jade or me to comb her hair for her too. Mom's been gone 11 years this Christmas Day...seems like yesterday and then an eternity all at the same time. Great page 10cp

Brought tears to my eyes too. Like you and your sisters I have lost my mom and she loved to have her hair combed as she lay in my or Jade's lap. Brings back beautiful but sad memories!!!

That is the most gentle and touching page I have ever seen, what a awesome moment. She reminds of my mom when she got so frail, they are so helpless. Stop and think how the tide turns in our later years. First they take care of us when we are helpless and we turn around and do the same thing for them. I'm so impressed with this page, it has me in tears as I type. Wonder job on this, nicely done

Oh Betty, this has touched my heart. Such a wonderful, loving page. This one has made me cry. It is so sad when we lose a loved one, but we do go on, but as I know myself losing one's Mother was the hardest. But she walks and talks with me everyday still, and she has been gone for 29 years now. She will be here forever.

Betty this page is BEAUTIFUL. When Nicole and I were reading it we were sitting her bawling. I had thought about doing a page with that last picture that was taken of me and mom together the Christmas before she died but I just can't bring myself to do it yet.

Oh, Betty. This is emotion on paper. It makes me want to sit still and cry like a baby. It's all I can do to look at these pictures of Mom during those last months. Your journaling from that book is perfect for describing that time in our lives.
