Tom is Kara's "adopted" grandpa. Kara's cousin, Brianna, passed away at only 4 months old. Tom was Bri's grandfather. Kara has been helping the whole family heal...as they were only 7 weeks apart in age. In this picture, Tom is holding Kara as she steals his pen and paper from his shirt pocket.
