I migrated to Perth, Western Australia from England in 1970 after my divorce. My little boys were 4 and 6 years old and I didn't know a soul in Australia. All I really knew was that I was seeking a better life for my children and my instincts proved to be correct. It was very hard, raising them alone, but they were always good kids and grew into hard-working honest men of whom I'm the proudest mother in the world...!
