This page was scrapped for The Chakras Challenge. The Root Chakra is a grounding force that allows us to connect to earths energies and empower our beings. The butterfly is a symbol of transformation. We often forget when gazing upon a butterflys beauty the struggle and fight it went thru to shed its old form ( a tough silk shell) moving on into a new world. As we go thru life our circumstances constantly change and evolve.
