It's hard to imagine what it's like to be a grandparent until you become one and I can only hope I will be half the grandparent my father is to my son. He has taught him patience, respect, manners, live each day of his life and more importantly - a love of steam trains. It's true, "Blessed is the man who hears the gentle voices call him grandfather"
