I only met my Grandmother once when she came to visit from Switzerland - she stayed with us just a short week, but she left me with such wonderful memories - I was about 10 years old at the time and she couldn't speak English and I couldn't speak German, but she was so much fun to be with - it was a wonderful week. I am just so thrilled to be able to be so involved in my own little Granddaughter's life.

Very touching!!!! You brought tears to my eyes because the same thing happened to me too. My grandma lived in the States while I lived here in Italy. I really understood how much I had missed her when I became a grandma too. I wish I could go back in time to tell her how much I love her!!!
