I use brown cardstock for background. Using two different pp for stripes and pic mats. For embellishments I used chipboard that I painted brown (love and brackets), and flowers. I also placed cream/brown buttons for the middle of the flowers and put a silver heart buttons on the heart in love. Using a brown gel pin I wrote "My Dad" on the top pic mat and "My Son" on the bottom pic mat.
