This is my granddaughter whom we have had custody of since she was 4 months old. She's such a brave little girl for all she's endured. Even though her smile is crooked, it and her eyes light up a room - and her Nanny & PawPaw's hearts! Created for the "I believe I can fly - 2008 Special Needs Challenge".

This is a very touching page and i can identify with all your journaling as two of my nephews were also born with cleft palate and hare lip. It is a long road but my nephews are now both teenagers (16 & 19) they have reached the end of all thier treatment including plastic surgery and are thriving.
