I wrote this after talking to gran and having a moan after saying l was tired and ached. she said there was worse off than me and she was past her sell by date she said....

ideally, i think that we shouldn't compare ourselves with others for always there'd be someone better or worse, but i think this poem is valuable because more people do see who is better but not see who is worse off and being able to see who is worse prevents self-pity and enables greater compassion. great work, lynne, 10+10!
