My friends sister (pictured) had had a very bad illness for some time. She asked that I created something that would show how she over came. My selection of the waves represented her hard times, and I saw the contrast of the calm waters and shore line in the picture behind her sister in the photo she gave to me. Not sure where I got the saying, but it all just seemed to fit together.
