I have always loved this awesome picture ever since I saw it on Oprah many years ago. It is so hauntingly beautiful.

Another great page. I just checked out the web and they found this girl 20 years later, if you want to read the story, its very touching, and you can see her as an adult (her eyes are still 'haunting' http://ngm.nationalgeographic.com/ngm/afghangirl/

The afghan girl is a stunning pic, I can imagine she was probably wondering if the man with the camera would give her some food. It was taken during war time in afghanistan.
