Just wanted to make a page of one of my favorite paintings by a Finnish painter Hugo Simberg (painted 1903).

Hugo Simberg was a Finnish symbolist painter and graphic artist who often used the "Poor Devil" and Death as characters in his paintings. His works mostly focus on the macabre and the supernatural, possessing a haunting, gloomy beauty. This is exemplified in the painting you chose - excellent choice and beautiful scrapping!
