Journaling: Even though my family did not have the financial means, I was determined to go to college. Between scholarships, grants, and a lot of part time jobs during the school year and summers I was able to pay my own way through school. I’m the only one in my family that has gone on to college. I knew if I wanted a better life, college was the first step. So here I am graduating!!!!!
