New babies are always a cheer me up so here is one for everyone. Top left is Misha (mum) & Makulu from some years ago at Perth Zoo, many have seen it and it was the first Rothschild Giraffe born in Australia. On Christmas eve Misha had her first calf in seven years, number five since Makulu. She is un named and these pictures are of her at 4 days old. Misha has produced 5 of the 7 born at Perth Zoo. Makulu has gone to Melbourne and has his own offspring, so all are going well.
