This is the only photo I own of this particular ancestor. I find it interesting that he lists his profession as "chauffeur" for the Olympia Fire Dept. Does that mean he drove the fire truck? We'll probably never know for sure.

This is a great page! Some departments call their drivers chauffeurs or engineers. Just different names for the same job!
