Living in a country that does not see much snow, this was my children's first and only experience of snow. I'd heard that there'd been a heavy snowfall (that is for us) in Ceres, a town about 1½ hours drive away. So Caryl and I bundled the kids into the car after school and set off in search of snow. It was a magic experience! My sons, Andrew (left) and Matthew (right)are in the foreground. In the group photo are Bryoni, Caryl, Rory, Andrew and Matthew.

What a wonderful story!!! Here, we don't have to drive around in search of snow, we have about 1 foot of the fluffy stuff right outside the door (I have to get out to shovel soon, LOL!). What a great picture and even better story!!!
