About this scrapbook page: |
I love, love, love the fourth of July! It's my favorite holiday. And, I love a parade...any parade long or short. My hometown boasts the largest parade in Wisconsin...and it's long...3 hours at least! Everone's favorite part of the parade are the "re-enacted" memorials. A long time tradition is the Marine Corps Memorial float. The actors wear dog tags bearing the name of the man they are portraying. It is a Veteran's Honor (thus the title of the page) to participate in these floats.
