I'm very new to this, but I love to get creative!! My husband likes to tell me at least a day in advance if there's an occasion coming up he wants me to make a card for!! And my kids just roll their eyes & sneak out of the room when I volunteer to create something for their friends' B-Day or whatever! (just last year they finally got to BUY Valentine's cards!) And Heaven forbid they have anything resembling any other invitation out there!!!!
