I worked as an editor during my first "career." Then I went back to school after almost 30 years hiatus and earned a master's in education (TESL & educational technology). A second master's (library science) followed two years later, thanks to a scholarship program at the library where I was working as an information literacy instructor. Then I accepted a position as science librarian at UVI on St. Croix. When the grant ran out last year, I was invited to teach a couple of freshman writing courses. I've been doing that since then and love it! In my spare time, I scrap and stamp, read, listen to jazz at concerts on the beach near my cottage, swim occasionally, and dance when the mood hits me. Life is lovely in "paradise"!
