About this scrapbook page:
Already in the 14th century the lion has been used as the symbol of power and strength and protection. During the ages the lion became the national symbol since the ancestors of the royal family have always been ruling the country except for those times that we were occupied by other countries
Je maintiendrai means something like "I struggle and survive"
