what software do you use? If you're using Photoshop/Elements, Paint shop, Gimp....just slap you daughters pic to a new layer and erase the background away. Or you may use their masking tool....but erasing would be much easier for newbies. Save this as .PNG file format for later use. This file format will keep the background transparent or erased. Then you may just open your .png pic anytime when you need it for your layouts.
