I have created all my Scrapbooks with Picture It! It is a great and flexible program but it is also an old software. Do you have any other softwares (free or comprable) that you would recomend?

Hi Yady, there are 2 totally free programs that I have used successfully. I'm not sure what level you are at with your scrapping, but I have found PAINT.NET and GIMP online for free and both programs have vast tutorials available for them. GIMP to me is a scaled down mini version of Adobe Photoshop. Adobe.com offers 30 day trial downloads for Photoshop Elements and their CS3 (Photoshop 10) programs, but then you have to pay if you want to keep it after that. I have used Scrapbook Factory Deluxe (has premade layouts and embellishments galore), HP CSA and Photoshop 7 and am currently using Photoshop CS3 extended for my scrapping. Photoshop has a high learning curve to it so it will require patience to learn it thoroughly. Dabble and see what program that you fancy!

I use Paint Shop Pro. It does most things Photoshop does (may even a couple things it doesnt) and costs $100 US or less. Corel often has it on sale on their website, at least in newsletters I get. I highly recommend it. It is easier to use than Photoshop too. Hope that helps.
