Tracy, I got Scrapbook Max! because it has some features that other programs I have, don't. I especially like how you can make a picture/element opaque. For me, it is easier to use, and easy to learn to use. And, a big reason was that I can do everything in one program.

Do the ...max pages upload to SCF okay? I have noticed some don't work through the SCF software.

You can trial it for 30 days then you have to purchase it if you want it. You download the free trial and they send you a CD when you pay for it. I still have the trial version at the moment.
It looks pretty good.
I have heard a lot about PaintShopPro sounds like something I must have---LOL
