i had a great dane (she is alive but at my moms) and i love her dearly, i would love to have an other one soon, but i have to talk my hubby into it. i always had at least 1 around all, my life.

I have never had a great dane before but I have heard they are hyper dogs (in a good way). I used to have cats until I got married (my husband doesn't like them, nor do my dogs.) I hope you enjoy this group. I just started scrapbooking on my computer and when I found this site I just had to join. I have looked through some of the downloads though and there isn't very many that have to do with animals so I'm having to improvise when I make a page for my dogs.

hi, there. there was a time when my family had 13 cats, 5 dogs and a parrot. now, we just have 2 dogs (a siberian husky and a shitzu) and a cockatoo. a beloved parrot and a mynah died last year. - kate

Hi I have just joined today and have the following animals mostly rescue
Yorkshire Terrier called Libby aged 4
Black cat called Misty aged 2
2 Tortoises called Betty and Wilma sister aged 40
Rabbit named Barney aged 4 months
1 hamster called Fu aged 14months

Quite a crowd for a 1 bedroomed flat

Well I have 3 rottweilers, 1 jack russel terrier,1 toy fox terrier,1 red doberman,1pug. The crazy thing is they are all under a year old except for the jack russel. Then we also have a mama cat we took in that just has 3 babies. 1 lop rabbit. I love animals but i told my kids we are full now. LOL between all those pets and my 7 kids it gets crazy here but it is never boring.

I just joined this group, so i wanted to introduce my Doggie to you.
She is a Mix of Whippet and Podenco. I love her 'like crazy';)
She lives with us since 2003.
Before her , we had a German-Shep.-Rotweiler-Mix , a Cocker-Spaniel, a Doberman and a Hovaward-Mix living with us. One after the other...not all together:)

Hello!

I'm a rodent breeder so I have a lot of pets home! I have hamsters, mice, gerbils, rats, 6 rabbits and an old doggy that I love more than anything else! he's a big spitz, white, 16 yearl old since agustus. I'll post somes pictures some time ;)

I have 3 cats. Tori & Hari both adopted from an animal shelter together, they were from different litters, but are the same age. And our third kitty is Mishi. She is a stray. We took her in 3 weeks ago. The vet told us she is about 5 moths old and was malnurished, but otherwise health. Now we are in the process of letting Tori & Hari figure out its not such a bad idea to have a little sister.
Oh and there is Bandit. Our rather nervous canary. Since he moved to the top floor of the fridge condo he has been happier. And he has a better view from up there.

we have three dogs.....a great pyr, Bandit; a golden, Scrappy; and a lhaso mix named Peanut. Also a few "barn" cats. I was always a cat person until my 20yo siamese died though. After her I just couldn't have another cat in the house. I saw a pic of a pyr and just fell in love. Bandit is my special boy. he's very devoted to the whole family and takes his "job" of guarding us very seriously. Pyrs are normally guardian dogs for sheep, goats, or poultry. And he does have rabbts and chickens to guard too.
