I, too, am a digital photo addict, I am on my 4th camera and each one has improved over the other, I usually use my Nikon I carry in my purse always, but when on the motorcycle I use the Nikon D70 SLR digital. Thanx for this group of actual photos WE take and not from the internet.

I would hate to think how many camera's I have as I keep changing them ~ but currently have a Nikon Coolpix which is always in my handbag ~ an Olympus which is always in my car and my Nikon D40X which I use for taking proper photos :)
I am loving seeing all your beautfiul photos and am just about to go out walking with the puppies and to take some of my own for the group :) x
I am thinking of having in group photographing challenges, with members taking it in turns to choose a photography topic ~ what do you all think??

I keep my camera in my backpack because my family go on a lot of bike rides and we all enjoy hiking as well!

Thank you as well from me -- my dad is a professional photographer and Im not up to his level -- but I always have my camera w/me and my cell phone(3mp)as well as a back up. I still have my film camera a Cannon -- but now that I've gone digital my 1st one so far is a Orange Olympus Styleus 790 SW -- can go underwater but haven't tested that feature yet. Im already wanting the next step up. Marni aka Frogbeam.

i have a cannon eos 350 digital and a cannon eos1000 for film, but i mostly use the digital now...My digital camera is black and silver.... Its easy to use and goes everywhere with me...

I love the idea of the group doing a photograpy challenge. BTW my Nikkon Coolpix is silver and the Nikon D70 SLR is totally Black and o so heavy, but better on the MC cause it hangs around my neck and can set for snapping while MOVING....

Thanks for the invite! I am a photography addict and have been since my dad bought me my first camera when I was turning 12. It was one of those little Kodaks that held 110 film lol. I took over 450 photos on our recent 3 day camping trip, not counting the 30 mins of vid that calvin took. *sigh* thank goodness for external drives.. my comp is new-ish but still can't handle holding all those photos lol.

Thank you for joining the group Karrie ~ you will certainly feel at home with all the other photography addicts here :) I used to hate the wait with the old film cameras between taking the film to the processors and getting the photos back ~ it's great now that we can just click a button and there they are.
I have just ordered a 2nd external hard drive as my first is filling up fast :(
Your vacation piccies are looking good, can't wait to see more of them :)

thx! I have a 500G drive and even with the tons of scrap kits, photos, and music on there, I've still got about 375G left, if not more. I just worry about frying it so I don't leave it on very long... fear of losing scrap pages and photos makes me sick to my stomach! Then you know you're an addict I guess... lol

I have a 350 g external hard drive that I put all my photos on, but a word to the wise, ever so often make CD copies. All my kits that I download as zips I copy while still zipped then open them on my harddrive, I also download my scrapped pages as zipped files too and photos I zip occasions and put on CD's needless to say I have lots of CD's but I got burned early with a hard drive crashing and unable to remove what was on there. Your photos are gorgeous Karrie.

Thanks! I burn mine onto CDs too because I have this fear of losing everything! But at least I know lots of scrapbook pages are on here lol.

I have a 500G EHD which is almost full ~ it has all my photos, scrap pages and kits on ~ I have just today ordered another EHD which is 1.5TB's ~ I wonder how long it will take me to fill up that one :(
I don't generally burn stuff to CD, but have heaps of SD cards and memory stucks hanging around with stuff saved on them ~ what I really need is a good clear up of the stuff I have got :(

poor me l have only one camera that is digital and two that have film....boohoo...
digital one is a little Praktica DC440....good enough for me....

:( We are on 16013 now Lynne ~ and I need to empty the cameras from this weekends jaunts :)

And that is not including the photos pre September 2006, which are still at my old house ~ which is now sold :) so I will be bringing them over here when I clear the house over the next few weeks :) x

I hope my new EHD arrives soon as I am really running out of space on my current one with all my kits and scrap books on there too :)
