I'm hoping that someone will be willing to share some of the best web sites for free downloads. I'm extremely new to scrapbooking. I've only done digital, so far. I'm on an extremely fixed income and not able to afford kits, embelishments, etc. Can anyone recommend any good web sites I should visit for ideas and downloads.

You can use a search enginge to find "digital scrapbooking freebies" and it should bring up lots of sites with free stuff to download. Some specific ones are: www.freedigitalscrapbooking.com, www.scrapbookscrapbook.com, or www.scrapbook-bytes.com
