not being a user of photoshop, I wouldn't really be able to help you there! but I use Gimp and it is really great for creating backgrounds and ribbons.. I haven't really figured out as far as embellishments yet.. =) Btw, Gimp is availible for download on the internet.. it's been a while since I downloaded it, so I can try and find a link for you or you could just search on google. =) hope this helps, although I can understand if you don't want to switch software! =)
