(I joined my SpEd students on their final field trip for summer school), but when the shaking started again, I knew it couldn't be me!!!! We are all fine, and the students didn't feel a thing! Everybody was on their phones immediately, I was able to receive 2 calls, then no more for 2 hours! It was a 5.6 about 30 miles from home! We haven't had an Earthquake here in many many years!!!
That was fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Haven't felt any aftershocks, but there have been a lot!

Yikes! My Grandma lives in Palm Springs and she felt it too...she was in the Mall at the time, lol! I live up the coast in BC and we are just waiting for that huge one we are overdue for! I think the waiting and not knowing is almost worse than the actual event! At least I finally convinced my hubby to help me get an earthquake kit together! He kept denying that anything was ever going to happen!
I am going to be in Anaheim in September, so I hope there aren't any big ones while I am there, lol!
