For me, Prayer is a way to give thanks, to ask for assistance, to connect with God and to focus on what is really important in my life and in life in general. I love to pray :) I will share some stories later on... Nayyan :)

Miss Scarlett aka Jude says:
Prayer is my own private conversation with God. Just me and Him. I thank Him for His blessings on me, I ask for forgiveness for I know that I am not perfect, I praise Him for sending His only Son to suffer and die for me. Most of all I pray that He will touch the hearts of unbelievers before it is to late for them. Blessings, Judy

Nanna Susie says:
Oh My with out Prayer where would I be??? Thee has been times I didn't know where to go but to take it to God in prayer. I can't imnagine what or life would have been like if we hadn't had the prayer of our Chruch friends and family a few years back when it seemed like I couldn't make it another day. God knows all about it so I want go into it now. It was two years that I never want to go thru ever again and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. It brought us closer together as a family when it could have tore us apart. I know the prayers of all was what helped us thru this time. Prayer is my all in all with out it where would I be???

Twinsmummy says:
Prayer is one of the staples of my life. And to me one of the most wonderful aspects of prayer is that it doesn't have to be words. There are so many ways to connect with God, both spoken and not -- what better relationship could there be? The other truly amazing theing for me is that God id there listening and caring during our deepest sadest times as well as our most joyful!! Blessings to you all!

Prayer is the most important aspects of my life! Just as you need food and water for your body, prayer is needed for the rejuvenation of the soul. It is a way for you to talk to God on a daily basis. The funny thing is, God knows exactly what you are going to say even before you do! God is so Good!

Gramma Sally says:
The Bible say: "Pray without ceasing" That means anytime anywhere constantly. I have seen God do marvelous things throught prayer. I can't imagine living in today's world without knowing that God is there to talk to and leave my burdens with anytime.

doodlebug says:
Prayer is my time with my heavenly father, I am not into organized religion, but am very spiritual, and believe in a higher power than myself. I believe God is there to help us not only in bad times but we need to be thankful in good times as well.

Keeper At Home says:
Prayer is talking with my "Abba". Sometimes I don't take that time seriously enough, but just like my earthly father is patient with me, so is my "Abba". He is the only one who KNOWS me: cracks, crevices and all. Nothing is hid and therefore, I can tell it all to Him. What a blessing to know that He loves me IN SPITE of me!

Prayer.. What would I do without it.. God is closer to us then a brother. We can go to Him any time of day or night, we don't have to make an appointment, He is available all hours of the day or night. I talk to Him each and everyday. You are right Keeper At Home, He knows us better then we know ourselves. He knows what we are feeling, what we are going through and what our short comings are. Even though I have failed Him so many times He has never failed me. I want to stay as close to Him as I can get, He is coming back someday and I want to be ready, waiting and watching.
