It helps if you take a few mins to gather your thoughts onto paper. Decide what photograph/s you want to use, then use maybe an accent colour from your photo to use as your theme colour. Sometimes you can look at a photograph in colour and a colour seems to stand out, you could try that approach to pick your theme colours. When you have chosen your photo and colours it is time to pick a size you want to use for the page, this will affect the finished page greatly so think about it. Especially if you want to print it yourself. Most printers cannot cope with printing larger than 8x10"paper. (this is a whole new ballgame) Next to start your scrapping choose either a kit you can find plenty of free ones on the web, or go into Scrapbookflairs choice and choose a nice background in yout theme colour, now use the software to place your photo/suse the software to edit the photo to the shape you like etc., When that is how you like it then use the elements from the choice scrapbook flair give you that are suitable for the subject of your picture and that harmonise in your own eyes with your colour scheme. TIP dont use too many colours at once. Once you are satisfied finalise your picture. Check it in the print preview. When youre satisfied save it. I have checked out your scrapbooks so far and you are doing very well.If you want some help and tips, freebie locations etc feel free to email me or pm me.
