My Grandfather was in both world wars and my dad was in Vietnam, I have never really given much thought to the wars over the years but now as I am getting older, I find myself appreciating more and more the sacrifices, fear, shame and pain of war that a lot of men and women made for our freedom and still do. Not only in Australia but world wide. And lets not forget the other side as well, they too suffered the same.
