I currently use Microsoft Digital Image but it has not been supported by them for quite awhile, so it doesn't work that great with Vista. (crashes if I get to detailed) My question is does anybody use photoshop Elements for scrapbooking? If so, is it hard to learn. Thanks!

Sorry I'm a bit behind in my own group. You may ask that here :) A lot of us digi-scrappers use Adobe PSE for their pages. I personally have version 9 . At first I was lost, but once you play around with it, it gets easier. Even though I still keep finding more and more cool stuff you can do with it. I think if you already use software for scrapping you should be able to get figure it out there is a lot of info on-line and we do talk a lot about it here.

I use Digital Scrapbook Artist 2 (now Craft Artist, though I don't have my new copy of the software yet) to create my pages, and I started out there with image editing as it can do quite a lot. From there, I got PSE9 to edit my images, have added plugins, and have also gotten paint.net (free - go grab it!) which has even more effects. Plus, there are people who do a lot of plugins for it that are free as well.

Yep, Yvonne's right, it REALLY slows it down to a crawl. I think I'm going to remove some of them that I'll never, ever use and see if the speed improves.

I have a tip on buying some of these programs. If you have or know someone in college, students can get a hugh discount on Photoshop programs. I use CS4 and bought it for under $ 200.00. The student can only buy one so make sure they aren't going to want one for themselves. The student also has to give you their college ID number and some other info. once the program is loaded on your computer.
