goodbye says:
ok, here goes. How I made my Puma Beach Dude animation. Well first you need an animation program. I used PhotoScape which I found for free on line. It was much easier for me to use. Now in PSE 9 I took a background then layered the extracted beach dude on top then layered the extracted puma head on top of his head. Threw in a wave behind the dude. That was the basic picture. Then I took the layer with puma and brought down the opacity all the way till it was invisible, saved image as #1. Moved wave over a bit and brought up the puma layer just a hair then took first image of the beach seen and brought down the lighting in enhance, saved as #2. Repeated these steps for each page making the puma head more and more visible, moving the wave over, making the beach scene darker and darker and every so often adding a lightning bolt or two. Since lightning is a quick zap you don't have to move it around you just add any where. Being sure to save each move in order with a number for the name. Be sure to name your file accordingly so you can find it when you go to your animation program. Like I said mine took 14 pages. In PhotoScape I opened the file and simply dragged and dropped each page in order to where it says drop here. It automatically starts animating it for you. I left it at that and saved it. You can change the speed and do other things too. Just play around with the settings. Once you get the hang of it they go pretty fast. Well, good luck, I hope to see more animations here. they are fun and cool and not as hard as you think.
