I have Gimp, but haven't used it much because I cant figure it out! I've done a few background papers, but no embellishments so far. I'll check out these sites...thanks for the info!

These tutorials are for basic GIMP tools all the way to special effects. I really learned a lot by looking through and even printing some of the tools tutorials. My favorite was the photo editing stuff. I don't know how to use everything, but this page helped me make a really good start.
