I have read this tutorial a while back. , it is good but only works when subject is against a solid background - white or black as in an photographers studio. not even sure if it will work on other solid colors. so not very practical for photos 99% of us take as most don't photos in home or outside and don't have a one color background

I haven't tried this tut but put it on in case someone wondered if there were any tuts around. I find the smudge tool and the blur tool works for me after extracting the subject x
